Bob Kunemund

Sgt.-At-Arms

Bob is a founding member of the Wolf Creek Gun and Bow Association and has served on the Land Acquisition Committee and assisted in the 2021 internal financial audit of the Association.

He and his wife retired to Pagosa Springs after a 37-year career as a geologist involved in oil exploration. His job took him to five different domestic locations and two international sites.

His enjoyment for shooting sports was enhanced during a 12-year stay in Anchorage, Alaska. With four organized, high-quality shooting ranges in the Anchorage area, he could see the benefits of organized training and shooting competitions to grow shooting sports. Bear awareness and defense training, while in Alaska, also increased his resolve for the 2nd Amendment. He has a passion to help bring an organized, safe, and environmentally friendly shooting range to Archuleta County.

When not shooting, Bob enjoys hiking, hunting, fly fishing and riding his ATV in the Pagosa area.
