Bruce Anderson

Bruce grew up in Indiana, moved to Texas after high school and then moved to Pagosa Springs after retirement from a career as a Technical Service Engineer in the metal finishing industry.

Bruce grew up with a .22 and a 20 gauge shotgun, hunting small game in Indiana. He married in 1970 and started collecting firearms, light gunsmithing and reloading in 1973.

Like most hunters in Texas, Bruce got the whitetail deer bug. He and his lovely wife spent many seasons in the Texas hill country hunting whitetail deer, hogs and turkeys.

Bruce has backed off hunting in his retirement years, but loves to shoot and work up the best loads and minor smithing to see how accurate he can make factory firearms.

Bruce is a strong defender of the 2nd Amendment and is a Life member of the NRA as well as a Life member of the Texas Rifle Association.

Since arriving in Pagosa Springs, Bruce has been working with others in order to find a place for an outdoor shooting range. His vision is a shooting club where practice of the shooting sports can be enjoyed safely. Bruce is currently the Treasurer of the Wolf Creek Gun & Bow Association.
